Richard Sandoval to open downtown Nashville restaurant
Downtown Nashville is set for a modern Mexican restaurant, according to a news release. Lona, a Richard Sandoval Hospitality restaurant, will open in boutique hotel Noelle in early 2025, taking the space last home to Makeready L&L.
The Nashville location marks the brand’s third, following restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and Tampa. Menu highlights include tuna ceviche, shrimp pastor tacos, a lobster quesadilla, Pablo’s fajitas, short enchiladas and house-made churros. Standouts on the beverage side include the Mezcal Mule, Lona Margarita and Sangria Rojo.
TV personality, chef, author and restaurateur Richard Sandoval partnered with notable Mexican chef Pablo Salas to create Lona. Richard Sandoval Hospitality is based in Denver and operates 60 locations of various brands across 12 countries.
